Photos:
We use a dedicated
scanner and supporting software to digitize
photos. |
 |
We
use the
Kodak S1220
scanner designed for the
digitizing of soft
documents from 7x10 cm to 20x30
cm with a maximum
thickness
of 1,2 mm. Photos on heavy support and glass
plates or metal alloy will be manually digitized
on a dedicated flatbed scanner. |

Slides and Negatives:
We
use two types of scanners for this task. The first is a
frame by frame scanner and the second is a multiple
frame scanner. In both cases we use dedicated software
specifically designed for these types of scans.
Check in
any of your local electronic stores and your bound to
find shelves of scanners that hook into your own
computer and could serve as a digital converter for you
slides. The problem with this type of 35mm slide
converter is that is does not do your photos justice.
Scanners that serve as a digital
converter seem easy. Often times they will fax, print,
and copy too! But while a home scanner may save you some
money, a 35mm slide converter will not save you time.
It's a long, tedious task to digitally convert every
single 35mm slide in your collection. So, let us do the
work for you!
It
is possible to scan 35mm slides yourself with a store
bought digital converter. However, we will not only save
you time, but we will give you a superior product which
will come out looking better than your original.
